Pending Delete domains Test Day # 2. Big Changes!

This is part 2 of a 4 day Pending Delete test of LLLL.com’s . I am tracking by registrar and who got what. What goes to live auction, what’s being held and by who and if any are being tasked or not. If you missed yesterdays post, here is that link. http://dotweekly.com/?p=13

Today I counted 52, 4 letter dot com’s that were pending delete. I picked up on a trend today, that I didn’t think would come along for about another month, but seems to have start earlier then I thought. A large amount of PD, 4 letter .com domains have seem to be captured with a backorder threw NameJet/eNom. This is nothing new, but backordering Non-All-Premium letter is.

Some combo’s would be like LXEV etc. I still think this is fishy, as all the ones that I think were backordered, all had very similar email address on the whois. The all looked like this Jane.Doe@yahoo.com . So they had a full.name and all were at yahoo, which seemed really odd to me.

Here is who got what.

eNom was a player today with 19 of the 52. A massive change since yesterday, with there 2.

SnapNames brought in their normal haul of 19 out of 52 (same as yesterday). Something to note as well, not a single one of SnapNames registrars grabbed more then one domain. 19 of snaps registrars each grabbed one each.

Pool was in the hunt as well with 2 out of the 52.

That leaves us with 11 "unknown". Again, these could be captured by tasters, by backorders or a person that owns a registrar for themself. More to come tomorrow on these 4L Pending Delete domains.
