I had wrote about the auction for the domain MyParking.com that was held at TDNAM.com on Jan 31, 2008. The auction was fun to watch, as the bidding reached $25,155 USD. Here is the past story. 

Today I did a follow up to see who the new owner was and what the domain is being used for.

The new owner is Alan Lin of A&S Electronics Inc. & TrustPrice.com . Trust Price is a Online seller of software and other related computer items, so I do not see much of a fit for the domain with that site, but Alan does own over 900 other domain names. Currently the domain is just parked on a standard Godaddy parking page and very well could be waiting on development or resale.

IMO, leaving the domain parked on a Godaddy page is a huge mismanagement of an asset, since any clicks the domain is getting, the revenue is going to Godaddy, instead of the domain owner. Godaddy does offer a parking service, but this is not the case, as the domain is sitting on a standard Godaddy domain server and the parking service uses a different name server.

I also checked at Sedo.com, and it appears the domain is For Sale with 5 previous offers, but Sedo does seem to have problems keeping domains up to date, so the old owner could of had the domain listed there before.
