This may seem kind of funny to some and pretty odd to other’s, but I have no reasoning behind it, other then it works for me when I do it.
It always seems that when I first park a domain name with a parking service, it always does it’s best the first 5 days it’s with the service. Then after the 5th day, the traffic goes down a little and so does the revenue.
So, why not after 5 days with one parking company, move the domain to another and and see if things pick back up? I have said this before and people thought I was crazy, but it does seem to work for me. Now keep in mind, if your domain doesn’t get any traffic, it will not matter where you park it, so your domain has to get "some" traffic for it to work.
The only thing that I can think, is with the different look and a little different wording in the links due to different parking companies, makes people keep using the site and clicking on ads. It’s almost like the parking page is good for 5 days, then people get sick of it. Changing parking companies after 5 days is then providing them with a "different" looking page, which in return creates new or continued clicks.
It’s a pain in the ass at first, but once you have the domains set up with two different parking services, let’s say Fabulous.com and Parked.com, it’s just a matter of changing the domain name servers and that’s it. Give it a try if one of your domains was doing well at a parking service, then seemed to die down a bit after it was with the service for about a week or so.
