eBay.com has been partnered with Commission Junction for a good deal of time and as I had mentioned last month, eBay was splitting ways and starting there own affiliate program. eBay is a great company to be affiliated with, because they offer so many different products. For a domainer that develops, this affiliate is a Must!
Well, It’s up and running! EbayPartnerNetwork.com is the url and it does have some nice tools, but I am not sure it’s "As Good" as it was with CJ.com.
The Tools they provide are Link Generator, Creatives Generator, Widgets and API access. You can select Geo location for your specific which will send your customers to that specific country’s eBay site.
Link Generator, allows you to create a direct link to a specific page or auction. I use this tool the most, because you can promote one specific item, your eBay store etc.
Creatives Generator, allows you to select banners, flash, video or logo’s of eBay. These can also produce a banner with "Hot Products but to me is pretty Blah! There are only 2 banners currently for US users, so there is not much to choose from. I hope they will be adding a great deal more!
Widgets, this is the Best tool they offer IMO. Within Widgets, you have 4 options. 2 of which are Coming Soon! Curently you can use Editor Kit (My Fav) and RSS Feeds which is also nice. The two coming soon are, eBay To Go and Quick Banner! Again, Editor Kit is my favoriate and I use it the most. You will need an account with eBay to use this, but most have one. You can create some great banners with this tool. You can select specific categories, Most Watched items in a specific category, select colors and so on. You will most likely use this tool the most as well. 
The reporting system is pretty good and gives you several options. By Day, Campaign, Tools & Program.
If you are not signed up for the new program, do so, it’s worth it and gives you tons of options of items to advertise on your sites! As we all know, eBay.com provides just about everything under the sun and that includes Domain Names as well.
