Well, I went to bed last night and about an hour later I awoke to extreme pain in the area of where I had my lower wisdom tooth extracted. I took several Hydrocodone pills and layed back down. After rolling around in bed for about another hour, I got up and tried a heating pad.

After about 4 more hours past and still extreme pain, I was like WTF! I took some more Hydrocodone pills and waited. Still hurt like crazy. So I pulled out a mirror to take a peek at the surgical area. Wow, it looked pearly white where the tooth was extracted. Hmmmm

Oh boy, I know what that means! Dry Socket! That pearly white I was seeing is BONE that has small nerve ends around it and explains the extreme pain I am in. Exposed bone is never a good thing and even the pain killers will not curb the pain. So as soon as the oral surgeons officed opened, I placed a call. 1:20 pm was the earliest I could get in to be seen, so I am back off to the surgeons office now.

This whole deal is getting old real fast! Let alone the pilling up medical bills. It sucks not having dental insurance, I can say that. More to come soon, but it’s likely I will be MIA again for a little bit, Again….
