I am going out on a limb and saying that Tucows expired domain names are Now being listed with the auction service AfterNic.com. There has not been official word from Tucows since they stated they will no longer be running their own expired domain auction service which will end in Mid Aug, but in my searchings today I noticed all the newer expired domains to be all listed with Afternic.com along with several others!

If you were to do a search on AfterNic.com for the domain EENP.com your search would not show the domain for some reason. If you do a whois.sc search, you will see a link that says: Buy Now: This domain is listed for sale for $60.00 at Afternic.com . If you were to click on the link, it would bring you to http://www.afternic.com/name.php?domain=eenp.com which clearly shows the domain is at auction and ends July 7, 2008 with no current bids and time remaining of 26d 6h.

By visiting www.EENP.com on the very top of the screen shows "The domain eenp.com has expired. Please contact your domain name registration service provider for further assistance. If you need help identifying your service provider, visit http://domainhelp.tucows.com. "

EENP.com expired on 05-28-2008 according to Whois. I have checked 10+ expired domains from Tucows and ALL were listed with Afternic in their auction section.

I placed a bid on EENP.com to see what would happen. Although it says Auction End Date, it doesn’t appear these are at auction. In a Offer Confirmation email from Afternic it shows: Asking Price: Make Offer, Reserve Met: No. On the listing page, it now shows Time Remaining: Closed, Minimum Bid: $65 and the Auction End Date is really odd and now shows Nov 30, 1999 where before I bid it showed July 7, 2008.

I placed 2 calls to Afternic and nobody answered.
