It’s been awhile since I have done my "off the wall domain name stats". These are stats that are not always delivered publicly. I enjoy seeing numbers and these kind of stats as they can reveal things or give ideas.
These stats are from yesterday 7-22-2008.
Parking movements will rule these stats as entities are searching for their parking bucks…
ActiveAudience.com lost 3,576 domains to Sedo Parking (mine will follow soon, but to Fabulous)
1,393 domains moved from Godaddy to Sedo Parking and in return, 1,235 moved from Sedo Parking to Godaddy.
1,035 domains moved from Parked.com to NameDrive.com
576 domains moved from TrafficZ.com to Sedo Parking
Sedo Parking was the largest gainer when it came to parking. They had a positive gain of 5,444 domains yesterday. NameDrive.com was following in a close second gaining 3,719.
Expired domains
Tucows had 3,456 domain names hit their expiry date. Tucows currently has a total of 101,982 domain names in expired status.
