Keep on working…. Your hard work will pay off!

I must say it’s been a tough month or so in the domain industry. For some people, they might be forced to sell domains cheaper then they wanted to stay afloat. On the flip side, you might of been the Buyer and took advantage of this because you still have cash on hand.

Parking revenues are down, (not for me really) so this brings another challenge as a lot of people depended on that cash. Some people have been using the BANS script and giving that a try. AEIOU.com is another options for mini-site for about $250.

Domain Names Are selling and I strongly think are still gaining value even though it may not seem like it right now. My last two domain purchases, I worked my ass of to get. Even down to payment, the old school way! Money Orders via Snail Mail… The good thing, my hard work and continued "checking in" with the sellers paid off and both domains are in my account at the rock bottom prices I like to get my domains for. :)

During the past two months, I have been trying to BUY only and good ones. Sell 2-4 domains a month to keep some cash coming in while building my portfolio. It truely is a buyers market right now with many people selling due to other revenue streams going down the tube and the economy as a whole.

With times like this, I really like to focus on Quality and less on picking up random brandable type domains, 3 character domains and even 4 letter domains (unless it’s a CVCV, VCVC or clearly pronounceable). Doing this free’s up enough cash to allow me to get the better domains, which in the long run will pay off much more then the smaller sales put together imo.

Stay away from domains with "extra" words or letters and think Quality, keep working hard and you will be rewarded!

In the past week I’ve hand registered the following for $7 apiece:

matcover.com
chocolatewheyprotein.com
vanillawheyprotein.com
strawberrywheyprotein.com
unflavoredwheyprotein.com

All are perfect for BANS. Whaddayathink?

I like your other route better Tony and your purchase of JVR.com ;) With any domain and work, you can turn it into something. BANS is for sure best with a Niche, but I am not sure on the whey protein ones. I never looked into the market, but I would of went with a generic that covered all the whey protein domains. Like FlavoredWheyProtein.com etc.

What types of domains are you buying that are considered quality? I would love to see some examples. Thanks!

It is not the journey that matters the most but the destination reached which is of most importance.

Any work pay’s off, it is a matter of time - some success comes easy and some takes time.
