Here are 5 easy steps to improve your website traffic and get Real people using your site and keep them coming back for more.

1.) Be helpful. Write things that people are looking for answers for. Yes, this may lead to less talk about "you" or your business, but the more info you can provide with proven facts the better. Include images, links to the tools or other websites that you talk about. If you can make a video or find one already on YouTube to add to your content, all the better! Some people like pictures, some like video and some just like to read. This way, you are covering all your bases.

Readers are Happy when they find helpful information and somebody needs to provide them with it, why not it by you.

2.) Get connected. Use social networking websites to help spread the word about a page you wrote or just your website in general. After you write a helpful article, post about it on Twitter.com, post a link on Facebook.com and submit your article to Digg.com . It will always help if your site / blog is in with aggregator style sites as well. Most aggregator sites get a good deal of traffic and it become a win/win for you and the aggregator site owner. Use Google to find a popular aggregator site for a specific industry and submit your site. It will help if your site has been up for a little while so the owner can see you write quality content.

3.) Do not recycle. Original content is a must if you want to boost traffic and sales. Look in different areas to get your ideas to write about. Pick a niche that you know a lot about and run with it. Just because you see a news story on Yahoo! News, doesn’t mean you need to write about it on your site.
