SnapNames has sold a total of 67 domain names in it’s first two showcase auctions with an average of about 85 domain names in each auction. The highest selling domain names so far in the showcase auctions was DegreePrograms.com for $31,555 followed by CameraBags.com at $10,500. Both sold in the first ever showcase auction on 7-21-2009.

The highest selling domain name in the 2nd showcase auction was BuyGoldOnline.com for $6,100 followed by Gels.com at $5,020. Gels.com was then listed 7 days later in a Sedo Great Domains auction and had a bid of $9,500 but the reserve price was not met ($10,000-$24,999) with Gels.com still being listed on Sedo.

Again, bidding ends at 2:15 PM CT Today (9-10-2009) for the domain names listed above as well as the other 69 domains in showcase auction (total of 89). The next showcase auction will be Finance / Money themed and submissions are currently open. That auction will take place Oct 13-15, 2009.
