Dtagr, on what grounds do you think that norvax is financing this purchase of 360? They are currently working on a much larger scope project so I can't imagine them doing this, but it is certainly eye brow raising if you are correct.

What's really interesting about these acquisitions is the company 360 Quote LLC is working with.

Norvax is a health insurance marketing firm that develops software for quoting,sales and lead generation and builds the backend for insurance brokers websites.

I suspect this will be an interesting venture and has a good chance of propelling 360 Quote LLC into a prominent national brokerage firm.

The success here is not in any one domain name but rather the niche domination that the collection allows for.

They might be building something like marchex, or they could even be working for them. In any case great sale for the seller!

CarInsurance.com would probably sell for close to $100m. It is not a domain but a great web property. With over 225k uniques a month from strong SEO rankings. They most likely make in the seven figures every month...

@Troy,
I was kind of thinking the same thing... but CarInsurance.com would cost more then $200K, if it even is for sale. BTW, Sub-Domains go before the domain. texas.carinsurance.com ;) If the "name" is after the domain name, it is considered a page or category. ;)

For that total price he might have been able to finagle a deal for a category killer like CarInsurance.com, even a .net or .org category killer would have been great. The domains that he is buying are fine but I think he would better be able to brand one large, very high quality domain with sub domains like CarInsurance.com/TexasCarInsurance.html which would have been almost as good as the small ones he is buying for local SEO and much better for nationwide SEO.

Either way, I am impressed he has the money to buy all these, I didn't know he was so successful.

I wish him best of luck in his purchases and hope they make him a ton of money.
