I do not always run coupons or codes on domain names but when I feel somebody is offering a great deal, I want to be sure my readers are well aware of it. Since Verisign is raising prices on .com and .net domain names effective July 1, 2010 it simply makes sense to renew domain names before this time period hits because you will be saving money if you plan on renewing the domain!
If you do not renew in the new couple of days, then you will simply pay more to register or renew your .com domain names on or after July 1, 2010! (some sites will update to the new prices on June 30th)
The following banner (once clicked) will set the pricing to $6.89 for .com domains. No codes to put in, you simply get that price. Like magic really!
VeriSign announced that as of July 1, 2010, the registry fee for .com domain names will increase from $6.86 to $7.34 and that the registry fee for .net domain names will increase, from $4.23 to $4.65. Now keep in mind these prices are what it cost domain name registrars per domain.
Registrars have to make money as well and GoDaddy will make $0.03 per domain if you use the above banner! Sweet Chicken, biscuit and gravy! Mmmmm, I love a sweet deal. NSI… well they rake in over $20 per domain with the standard $34.99 pricing they carry!
This is a GREAT deal and well worth it. You will be hard pressed to find a better deal with a reliable domain name registrar. Remember, simply click the banner to get the pricing and you are all set or if you are a link clicker you can Special Domain Sale! $6.89.com at GoDaddy.com . If your not a clicker of banners and not a clicker of links… well then you can do the dirty work and enter in the code: cjc689b005 but come on now… Offer ends soon, so act now!
After July 1, 2010, .com domain names will raise by 7% and .net domain names will raise by 10%. At GoDaddy’s standard $10.69 rate for .com’s means the new price increase will be about $11.44 per .com domain name without the $0.18 ICANN fee.

Heads-up to anyone wanting a cheap homerun:
You can pre-register slots.co at godaddy for $300…it still hasn’t been taken. Slots.com sold for $5.5 million at Sedo a couple weeks ago. I’d take this one, but I ONLY buy .com’s.

@Jack
Not really at all man. Pre-registration just means you’ll get it if no one else pays that $300. If someone does then you’ll go to bidding with them, or you can just not bid and get your $300 back minus a 10 dollar fee.
