A fellow DotWeekly.com reader is taking a risk and will be auctioning off 6 (six) three letter .com domain names using the Sedo.com auction platform at No Reserve.
The six domain names are as follows:
The auctions start Today (11-17-2009) at 3:00 PM EST.
It is pretty rare to see a seller list 3 letter .com’s at No Reserve and then to have a total of 6 at the same time. Keep an eye on these as they may present a good deal.

Takes tremendous onions to do this with no reserve and in this economic environment. I’ll keep an eye on them.

You can say Balls Tony
K.Randy
can the new real owner, please confirm lmj.com and jlm.com are indeed for sale.
cause dnforum shows that the names belong to “maginy”
http://www.dnforum.com/f529/bwe-com-jln-com-jfn-com-lmj-com-thread-370970.html
and “maginy” owns http://maginy.com/
WHOIS shows that Site Central, LLC is maginy
…
but now.. it seems the domains are owned by another guy called “Obada”
…
did “maginy” sold the domains to “obada” ?
earlier this year ?
…
sorry for being a little paranoid..
just need to double check for things that are too good to be true.
sorry if I posted
Aron
They’ll do well, in my opinion.
Doing a no reserve generates a “stir” like this.
They’ve already had more exposure than if they’d put a reserve.
Eager to see how they do!

@Aron,
I agree and it is something domainers are often afraid to do. Some of my best sales came from the results of No Reserve auctions. Talk about sticking out from the crowd. It is always a risk running a no reserve auction but one that I think is worth it.
Jamie Zoch
@K.Randy,
JLM.com is NOT in the list, nor was it ever. LMJ.com IS in the list and yes Obada is the owner.
K.Randy
ok thanks for the confirmation Jamie.
K.Randy
you may feel free to delete my comments. lol
Jamie Zoch
@K.Randy,
No reason to delete them because it is a valid question. That is one problem with forums as domain sellers do not always “update” threads when or if a domain is sold.

The fact is that most of these 2/3 letter.com reserve auctions have been a disaster for the most part. Unless you get a desperate end-user, they will never sell. In fact, it actually hurts the value of the domain holder since nobody wanted it at X price… killing speculation.
(I am not in the business for a 10-20% return.) I want at least 100-200%…. But why the hell would I speculate on something where a hard ceiling is created by the domain name owner?

Since I can’t reply to each post in particular during the auction time ,I will speak generally:
For ownership verification :
(JRA.com,PFK.com,BWZ.com ) I have bought them from one owner , by checking the previous whois any one can get his information , any one can contact him for the verification , deal conducted over Escrow.com if any one need further verifications .
(AKY.com ,JFN.com,LMJ.com ) Also these three from another one owner, deal conducted over Escrow.com simultaneously with the previous deal .
And no worries to send them to auction at no reserve , usually LLL.com domains sells at average market price ,even if they sells a little bit less than what they cost me , I’m ready to take that risk , it’s like gambling !
Good Luck everybody !
