There can be many reason for slow times in the domain industry. It has it’s ups and downs just like any business, but just because things can become slow doesn’t mean you can "take a break" or slow down!
The ones that do take a break or slow down will soon be looking for other jobs, because when you stop working you stop making money.
It is very common for people in hard times to just give up! For me, when things slow down, I react by trying new things and working harder! This means some change in your daily process and we all hate change, but change is really a Good Thing!
You might want to try out developing a couple of your domain names you have "thought about doing". You could think of some more creative ways to purchase domain names. If you always park your domain names, give affiliates a try. Have you seen something that needs to be improved or you have a better process for a task? Talk with some programmers and maybe create some new "tools" or software.
The bottom line is, if you think things are "slow" it is your fault and YOU need to do somthing about it. Start creating a buzz. Start trying new things and keep thinking outside the box!
