GoDaddy had reported the sale of the domain name Color.com for $350,000 around November 29, 2010 as reported on DnJournal.com and I did a little digging to see who the buyer may be considering whois privacy protection was added to whois. It appears that the buyer likely is serial entrepreneur Bill Nguyen.
Bill recently sold LaLa.com to Apple Inc. for $80 Million.
Bill also co-founded Onebox.com and sold that company for $850 to Openwave.
SEVEN Networks is another.
Bill Nguyen has founded or been a part of at least 7 impressive start-ups!
So is Color.com the next Bill Nguyen start-up in the works? Based on information that I have found, I would say Yes!
Warning Management Services Inc. was the seller of Color.com and a November 26, 2010 whois record for Color.com shows a new owner Bill Nguyen for Color.com . This likely happened before whois privacy was added to the domain name during the transfer process when the domain sold.
Displayed in the above whois information is the email address used for the Color.com domain. LeahMusic.com is also registered to Bill Nguyen and that whois information for LeahMusic.com has a connection to Onebox.com .
Onebox.com is / was connected to the Bill Nguyen many know of and why I think the likely buyer of Color.com is Bill Nguyen, the co-founder of LaLa.com . The domain Color.com doesn’t currently resolve but I wouldn’t be surprised that when it does, Bill is behind it and it will be one to watch. It is a great domain name! From digging that I did, the domain was listed for sale at $450,000, but sold for $100K less at $350,000 USD.

Thanks Owen. The link you provided doesn’t display the domains but if somebody were to click the link, just enter Bill Nguyen and you will see a small list. If you do not have the paid service, you will see domains listed as B—–.—, C—-.— etc.
