Yesterday I ran into a new search engine called Blekko.com (I know, pretty crazy name) but they put a focus on what they call "Slash Search". Using slashes with the keywords you enter, easily allow you to not see thing you wish not to. To further beef up your search to get you results that are fresh, simply add /date and you will see the newest results that match your search.
A search like:
tech /news ~ results in the latest news results relating to Tech!
tech /techblogs ~ results in websites that cover tech!
cats /humor ~ results are sites with funny cat stuff!
Two things that really jumped out at me from a domaining aspect are the /rank search query! This allows you to see what sites and pages of those sites and where they rank. You can even break down the data and see more by clicking more detail. I could see this being very helpful when it comes to researching specific keywords and what sites you have to beat out!
Another thing that can easily assist you with finding more details about a specific site/domain, is a hyperlink section below the page title. This consists of Like, SEO, Links, Cache, IP, Adsense and Spam that is by every indexed page. This allows you with one simple click to see the major SEO stats for the domain name! Pretty sweet and totally free!

Once you click the SEO link, you see tons of information like:

Keep in mind that Blekko.com is still in Beta, but I think you should check it out and give it a try. I haven’t used it enough yet to totally figure out all the advantages it has to help domain investors, but I know it has several things that many will like! I’m sure once I figure out the slash search more, it should even help out more. I suggest viewing this video and you may even want to watch it twice like I did.

Looks pretty good but stats are a bit iffy…..If they get more backing could be a good (or bad) tool for domainers.

The main idea is quite good, but they have a lot to develop. “beta” should be understood as is.
