As many of you know, I am a big fan of Godaddy.com CEO Bob Parsons. I watch all his video blogs via BobParsons.me as I think he makes many solid points about business while providing many great tips and tricks.
After the last video Bob had done (about Twitter.com), I was getting annoyed by the little tiny video box he used to show his video’s. It had to be about a 250 x 250 screen.. I know they put a lot of work into the video’s and wondered why the tiny video… What did I do? I left him a comment on his site and he agreed!

So this week (and all past videos on BobParsons.me) are now Widescreen HD videos! Thanks for listening Bob and making the change to the larger format videos! Watch the new 640 x 350 "A Big mistake most internet companies make" video blog and the new Hottest Ever Godaddy commercial at the end. (warning, you will see Tight Tank Top’s on women and fishnet’s in the commercial)
Some people may not enjoy the "risky" TV commercials or girls used in the video blog postings and so on, but it’s Bob’s choice to do so and I clearly think it pay’s off for Godaddy.
If you happened to watch the Indy 500® this weekend, the Godaddy brand was plastered ALL OVER the coverage! A lot of Godaddy commercials played as the telecast was presented (sponsored) by Godaddy.com .
Godaddy is one of the only companies that I see advertise that uses it’s commercials to draw people to it’s website in dramatic fashion. They play "part" of a commercial in the commercial and use text and voice to say "Continued at Godaddy.com" (unrated web content) which is an extremely smart thing to do. Then it’s up to how the site is set up to help sell product!
TV Ads are used to sell products and also allow for companies to continue it’s message "online". Websites have Greatly allowed companies with nearly unlimited options to continue it’s message in an easy to remember way with mass access and I would bet Godaddy is one of the best at getting viewers to it’s site after a TV commercial is run!
Godaddy has shed a lot of light on Domain Names and has at least brought them to the attention of the masses. I still hope for Godaddy to bring light of the domain name aftermarket which may or may not happen. With Godaddy Auctions and the newer partnership with NameMedia, it could one day happen! Fingers crossed…
