So as many of you know, I was very unhappy with Sedo and removed all my domain names. Well, this Friday I sucked it up and figured it was to my best of interest to have my domains listed with them. There are several that I want to submit to the Great Domains auction and they have to be listed on Sedo to apply for the GD auction.
So after not being able to get the mass uploading system to work, I listed the domains 50 at a time. I just put in the domains. No pricing, No categories etc. Some of the domains were approved pretty quick, but most of my domains that I wanted to load into my account are stuck in the approval process…. No biggie, but I hope the email that I sent moves along the process.
So after submitting my domains and the couple that got listed pretty quick, the offers started flying in on several domains. I know people search by Newly Listed and by certain categories etc.. I have told people to do this via Afternic and Sedo….
The thing that I should of said, was just because you see a new domain listed, doesn’t mean you should low ball. You could also still do a little homework on your end via whois and see it’s a Domainer who’s listing the domain etc. The only time searching by Newly Listed and finding a Gem for a bargain, is if the user sets a buy it now price. Just like what happened with the IReit domains at Afternic. They set Buy It Nows, those are the ones to look for, not the domains that start taking offers at $60.
I do wish Sedo showed who is making the offer, like Afternic does as I think this would cut down on the low balls. So if you might of placed on offer on some of my domains via Sedo in the past couple of days….. No, I will not sell MBE.org for $75 EUR or the $125 offer or the $300 offer. Eamo.com will not be sold to the $100 offer, nor will Uked.com for $125 EUR or the many other offers that I got.. lol
As soon as I get time, I will be setting prices and these offers will stop, but I just didn’t get time yet. I have been busy parking some domains with ActiveAudience.com and pointing the For Sale Links directly to my Afternic listing page. I have went through and set prices for all my listed domains on Afternic and follow the BuyDomains pricing range. Mainly everything is under $5K with only a couple above that. I tried to stay in the $1,880 range tto $2,880 for domains that I saw fitting for business use. The lowest Buy It Now’s that I listed were $990.
I hope my test with ActiveAudience.com pays off! If the user visits the page, I can still make money off PPC, then secondly if they are interested in purchasing the domain, they go directly to Afternic by clicking the for sale link. Once directly on the domains listing page, they can see the Buy It Now Price or also place an offer right away. More to come on this after it runs for about a month.

Great work on listing your domains with Afternic via AA. Looking forward for your analysis of this “out-of-the-box” idea.
