Since purchasing XSite Pro2 I have been playing around and BuyExpiringDomains.com was my first site project. Since I know this industry, is the reason that I choose to build on this domain. All the content was writen by myself and should rank pretty well once the SE’s start hitting it.

I didn’t fully focus on "domainers" with my content but took the approach of the end user and newbies.

I used XHeader.com which is also a free tool that XSite offers to build the header. I think I will have a logo made as it will look better then just the plain text.

I used Wordtracker to set all my keywords for each page on the site. http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ Using wordtracker REALLY helps placing the keywords that will Work, because it’s already proven that these are the keywords people are currently searching for. Matching these keywords with the content on your site is also very important. I used the keywords Domain and then keywords like Expired Domain and so on. I used the results for each to obtain my keyword lists to place on the site.

How the site will make money:  Affiliate.

The Buy Domains page will have an RSS feed of expiring domain names from SnapNames (with special settings from me) but currently until that feature is available, I will be adding domain names to that manually which isn’t that big of a deal. So feel free to check out that page from time to time.

I am looking forward to doing about 1 site per week, but I am still having the challenge to find the "right" way to offer a product or service that converts well. I will be trying several new things with the upcoming projects that I do and I will keep you informed. Feel free to check out BuyExpiringDomains.com and let me know what you think.

    Jamie,
The site looks great! the concept is great, and the XsitePro package looks impressive.
There is one MAJOR question that will determine the future of Xsite with domainers – how well it is doing with Google and Yahoo.
I hope it will do well, because I will be the first one to join. Good luck!

Thank you Yaron! I personally see no ill effects using XSite and the SE’s giving bad marks for any site built with the system. I don’t think there would be a way for the SE’s to even know the site/files were made with the help of XSite. ;)

Can you please explain how you will make money using a Snapnames RSS feed? I can’t find any mention of Snapnames of an affiliate program.

    **Jamie Says**
I should of said “Partnership” really. I have a partnership with SnapNames.com which is like an affiliate program. SnapNames doesn’t offer this partnership to the general public as far as I know.

Not trying to be an ace, but I still don’t understand why you are paying for that service, you can build one site per day using wordpress for the cost of hosting.

    Hi Daniel,
I have and DO use WordPress but for people like me, I don’t like messing around with code. In order to get a WordPress site to look like a “site” is pretty hard and requires changing code, using FTP and a lot more. Those things are not required using XSite. I have changed code on WordPress sites and to me it still always has the “blog” look. Also, if your template you choose doesn’t have Adsense ready sections in it, it’s a true pain in the ass to get it to work. I guess I could go on and on, but I like XSite for building sites and I like WordPress for blog style sites.

Can I build it like a blog using XSitePro ? As in posting daily entries.

    **Jamie Says*
XSite doesn’t offer a “blog” like feature like WordPress does but what you can do is set up a site using XSite Pro and then load a WordPress blog as well. You would simply need to load the blog part to a different “directory”. So it would be like blog.domainname.com etc. Then on your site, you would have a Blog tab. You can get a programmer/designer to match your blog template to your site template if you wish, so it will be a seemless match between your blog and your site. Hope this helps. If you really wanted to make it easy, just create a “page” and make it a blog. Doing daily updates would be really easy using XSite, but I think adding a WordPress blog to your site would be the best.

I only recently started using WordPress but haven’t found the learning curve to be that extreme, although I do understand your remarks about Adsense implementation.

I like the look of your site and will be keeping an eye on it and its rankings to see if XSite is another option for me as far as development goes.
