I like to point out a great domain name when I can that is currently on auction and is available to public. Camera.net is just that! Camera.net is currently on auction at the popular Sedo.com domain name aftermarket service.
Although this domain name is a .net, Camera is a HOT keyword on the net and has near endless products to fill any web store!
Camera.net can be a brand.
I think the plural term is "better" but the singular term is nothing to sneeze at either! Speaking of plural terms.. Cameras.com sold in 2007 for $1.5 Million.
Camera.com was for sale recently at BuyDomains.com but with a reported $3 Million dollar price tag. An asking price is NOT the same as a sales price but I think it’s pretty safe to say that Camera.com is a pricey domain name.
.net domain names seem to hold about 10% of the value of a .com domain. Same say more, some say less. The truth is, domain names real VALUE is in the eye of the person that has a vision on what to do with the domain name!
Camera.net is not owned by me, nor do I know the owner! I just think at the current offer price with 1 bid and reserve is met at $12,500 ($13K min bid) that this is a domain name to invest in or purchase for use!
