Celebrities have a great advantage when it comes to launching a website then the average Joe and making it a hit. Not only are most very smart, good looking and have a good deal of cash.. they are also in the public eye a lot!

Many get a great deal of TV time, so wearing a simple T-Shirt with their sites domain name is easy to promote a website without even saying a word. Many can simply head to the store and paparazzi are snapping pictures and video that get posted on other gossip style websites and magazines which spreads the word. Interviews can lead into a quick website plug as well.

One other thing celebrities do, is work hard and have great connections!

~ Brooke Burke has recently launched ModernMom.com, Inc. in which she is the Co-CEO of with friend Lisa Rosenblatt. Not only is the "term" ModernMom® great, they clearly have the perfect domain name to match! Then to top it off, it’s a really great site!

From Must-Have cool products, Momwood® which covers other celebrity women, blog, hot topics and expert advice to name a few, I can see why many women will really enjoy the site.

ModernMom.com is not Brooks first website launch either. In November 2008, Brooke launched BabooshBaby.com which is a site for her product line that started with Tauts. Tauts is a belly wrap that helps a new mom with her tummy after giving birth to get it back in shape. By visiting the site, the one product clearly has lead into others like the b-buckles, stretch-mark prevention oil, diaper bags, t-shirts and necklaces.

~ Ashton Kutcher is not only the Twitter king (@aplusk) and the first to reach 1 million followers (now almost at 2 million) on the popular social network Twitter.com, he is also behind the popular site BlahGirls.com . Blah Girls is an animated web video series and celebrity gossip blog.

~ Will Ferrell is behind the video streaming comedy site FunnyOrDie.com which launched in 2007. . Many videos include other celebrities and I must say… nearly all the video’s are really funny! A lot of exclusive content and user submitted videos as well. Several other sites have since been created in the Or Die Networks like ShredOrDie.com, EatDrinkOrDie.com and PwnOrDie.com .

CelebrityBase.net holds a pretty darn good directory of official celebrity websites. The best thing to do is to simply hover over the "name" of the person to see the URL or click the name of the person. The sites are mainly the person’s personal sites which can reveal other sites that some may own.

At the end of the day, the majority of celebrities were just like you and I one day but they put in a lot of work or were able to catch a break at some point. Keep plugging away to make your site a Hit and it’s always nice to catch a break once in a while. If your not trying, then there is no way you will have a chance to catch a break.
