I often see people ask for how to link directly to a specific domain name on certain services like GoDaddy, SnapNames, Sedo etc.
Over the years, I have built up a couple different link systems that work with several of the most popular domain name services that easily allow you to simply Add Your Domain to the link structure. Many places like GoDaddy, Afternic create some funky "number" system for listings and let’s face it, that sucks for domainers! This can make it a pain in the butt to direct link to a page for your domain name without visiting a bookmark to remember the link or finding that funky number and so on.
So here are some links for you to use that easily allows you to add the specific domain to the link. I often use links like this when directing somebody to my listing for a specific domain, you can also use links like this to forward your domain name to your listing page etc.
GoDaddy.com
People often run a domain name auction on GoDaddy of a domain name they own. People also list domain names as a Premium Listing and wish to easily link to the specific listing page etc. Here is a link structure that will allow you to link directly to your domains listing page. (clearly you have to have your domain name listed with the service)
https://auctions.godaddy.com/trpItemListing.aspx?domain=
Simply add your full domain name after domain= . Example of a domain name I have listed on Godaddy. https://auctions.godaddy.com/trpItemListing.aspx?domain=huffing.org You can also use this link if you are talking about a specific domain name auction and you wish to send somebody directly to that page.
SnapNames.com
Again, people often list there domain name in a auction on SnapNames and here is a link structure that easily allows you to link to a specific domain name by simply changing the domain name to the one you wish to have somebody visit directly.
http://www.snapnames.com/domain/DomainHere.com.action
Simply replace the DomainHere.com with the domain name you wish to link directly to. Once again, the domain name has to be listed on the service for the link to work.
Afternic.com
Wish to send somebody directly to your domain name listing page on Afternic?
https://www.afternic.com/name.php?domain=DomainHere.com
With Affiliate ID
https://www.afternic.com/name.php?domain=DomainHere.com&ref_id=123456
Simply change DomainHere.com to your domain name you wish to direct somebody to. For the affiliate link, simply change DomainHere.com to your domain and the ref_id=123456 to your affiliate id code. Visit Afternic.com then click on Account Settings (upper Right of page) and move down to Member ID. That is your ref_id= number.
Sedo.com
http://sedo.com/search/details.php4?domain=DomainHere.com&tracked=&partnerid=&language=us
Sedo’s is pretty easy really but figured I would put it here anyway. Just replace DomainHere.com with your domain name. You can also add in your Partnerid= . In your Sedo account, click on My Sedo / Partner Program and near the top of the page you will see Your Partner ID. The bad news.. I have had ZERO luck with the program… but you know how to do it now.
You may also direct link to ALL your listings on Sedo.com by using www.sedo.com/search/searchresult.php4?showuser= Simply add your Login Name (user name) to the end of the link after showuser=
If you would like another link structure for a site you use but have not been able to figure one out, just let me know. I just tried to cover the most popular services for now. Hope this helps.

Can you direct link godaddy premium listings?
Jamie Zoch
I am pretty sure the Premium Listings get listed in the domain market place. I know I have Huffing.org listed with the premium listing but I also have it listed with Afternic, which lists domains on Godaddy so I wasn’t sure if I was seeing the Premium Listing or the Afternic listing. If you are aware of a domain that is only listed AS a premium listing and no place else, just let me know the domain and I will give it a try to be sure.

I wonder if anyone has thought of linking to their domains for sale from blog comments yet?

Really good advice – thanks. I’m a domain name “affiliate” and it would be good to see services such as Sedo and Godaddy (who just yesterday released its own affiliate program) do more to help marketers resell domain names.

Often times you are better to build your own tools to help you as an affiliate. It makes you stand out from the rest, which is key!

I’m glad you could find what you were looking for Jason. I try to write stuff that people will search for and need an answer
