I had wrote about ThumbWars.org a domain name used in advertising by DoSomething.org and they picked up on my story and posted a part of my article and linked to my story on their "Press" section of DoSomething.org . So the interesting thing to me and it made me wonder…
Did they post my story simply because I wrote about the ad campaign and the domain aspect of it and they liked it?
OR
Because they thought my blog was DOT related? (Department Of Transportation) since the ad has to do with Texting and Driving?

It is always fun when a company you write about displays the fact that you wrote about them but the way DoSomething.org posted me as the source and displayed DotWeekly as DOTWeekly it made me wonder a little bit if they liked the fact I wrote about their domain name used on a domain site or if they thought I was a DOT type site and they never really read what I wrote.
So why you think they covered my story? Just because I wrote about them and it didn’t matter DotWeekly is a domain related site or do you think they covered it thinking DotWeekly.com was a DOT related site and never really read the article?

Chloe
actually, I was the one who posted the article on the press page and we really do love what you wrote! sorry for the typo!

@Chloe,
Feel free to give me a heads up on any future campaign you are launching with a specific domain name.
Thanks for posting it and stopping by and I’m glad you enjoyed what I wrote
