I am slowly getting back up off my knee’s after this last round of dental work. This round really took it’s toll on me and put me in a great deal of pain and I didn’t want anything to do with the internet. I am about 75% after Thursday’s go around and hope to be 100% soon. So I should be back to my normal postings soon….

After being out of the game for several days and not being on the computer full-time, I have noticed a large Void the domain name auction services are clearly missing. Email Reminders!

NameJet.com does the best out of them all, with reminders of auctions starting and ending etc but they can and should do better.

SnapNames.com does so/so as they only send an email when an auction starts or you get outbid.

TDNAM.com does the worst and only sends an email saying an auction is ending soon… you go and check and the domain still has 4 Days left in auction? They also send out the Outbid Notice.

I think a fix to this is very easy. These auction services ALL have your email info, so that should not be a problem. They all know WHO is in an auction etc. So I see no reason why there can not provide better auction updates via email to the customers in the auctions. I miss auctions that I am in and would of bid on, IF I could or would of remembered about them.

They should all start sending 24 Hour End Notices and then again, 1 Hour End Notices to an ending auction for the specific domains. I think they would all see an increase in sales and more bids if they did this. I hope they are listening and do something about this. ;)
