I normally name this "This And That From Me To You" but thought I would title it a little differently this time just for the hell of it. 
~ Minneapolis Star Tribune launched an online campaign on Monday in a bid to save the Minnesota newspaper, which declared bankruptcy nearly three months ago. Good luck with the super shitty domain name they picked… SaveThesTrib.com . Didn’t you know, everybody knows S stand for STAR and Trib is the new Tribune! OMG! Broke or not, you can come up with a better domain then that!
~ Twitter.com confirmed today that talks of a Google take over are just rumors.
~ I picked up some decent domains the past several days during the PendingDelete drops. Some of those include: PaintPail.com, uRated.com, BulkBait.com (Hunting, Fishing), DomainStimulus.com (which I will be using for a site) and BulkSexToys.com. My past couple Steals and Deals on Godaddy.com were: AdvertisingPal.com, FixedFast.com and CornerCaps.com.
~ I watched a little of Rick Latona’s auction this weekend. I felt really bad for the auctioneer as nobody was bidding. Rick is running an extended auction here. The auction ends this Sunday. It’s an Adult auction btw.
~ A lot of generic domain searches on Google Trends today. Mainly all baseball related: Reds.com, Mets.com, MLB.com etc. Reds.com forwards to http://cincinnati.reds.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=cin which suprised me a little. Mets.com does the same but goes to newyork.mets.mlb.com/index.jsp . I have to assume that most of (if not all) the baseball domains do that. (I’m not a baseball fan if you can’t tell)
~ ACM.com was getting a lot of search last night. The ACM people searching were looking for Academy of Country Music® but does not own ACM.com . ACM.com is owned by Adams Capital Management which is a venture capital company. ACMCountry.com would of helped these searchers for the Music Show they were watching on NBC.
~ Offers have been Extremely light for me the past couple weeks…. not a good thing, but I’m still plugging away! I have been buying, but only steals right now! I am waiting on a couple (2) $x,xxx deals to close which will greatly help me out.
