Hello

I searched all over the place in order to find whois history for a domain I managed a while back. Like flippertie, I was quite reluctant to pay $149 for something I would use once (I must have purchased close to a 1000 domains starting 1997 and never needed this info).
Anyway, I was about to ask you a favor, and just before asking, found another way. If you go to www.who.is , you can just perform a regular whois. But there is a second tab, just next to the whois one that says "Archives" ... et voilà ! I was able at least to get previous owner info !
Because of your nice offer to flippertie, I thought I woud share this info with you !
Regards, Pierre.

@Flippertie,
I am not aware of a free service that displays whois history. Feel free to post the domain in the comment section and let me know what info you would like and I will look it up for you.

Is there any free equivalent? I only want to look at the history of one domain - signing up for a $149 membership seems a little steep for that information...
