Here is a list of domains per parking company:
- Sedo ~ 2,037,302
- DomainSponsor.com~ 1,637,974
- Fabulous.com ~ 1,311,439
- Godaddy.com (paid parking service) ~974,173
- Parked.com 812,300
- NameDrive.com ~ 531,973
- RevenueDirect.com~ 297,146
- ParkingSpa.com~ 132,104
- ActiveAudience.com ~ 122,314
- TrafficZ.com ~ 346,767
- WhyPark.com ~ 53,458
Some of the largest amount of "parked" domain names, are domains at Registrars that people register and never change the name servers. Since most registrars use the same dns for hosting/new registrations like Godaddy.com, NetworkSolutions.com, eNom.com etc, the "real number" of parked domains would be very hard to obtain.
Their is a total of 104,554,666 registered domain names (.com/net/org/info/biz/us) source. If I was a betting man, I would say something in the 75%-85% of all these domain names are "parked". This leaves about 7,841,600-8,887,146 active websites world wide with a word population of approx 6.6 Billion.
7-8 million Live or Active websites compared to 104 Million + Registered domain names.
Checking on the web, this chart even backs me up! They show around 7+ Million Active websites. If parking is dead or dying.. what’s going to happen to the other 97 = Million domain names? Some will switch over to Active, but I do not think "parking" will be dying anytime soon. Just more creative ventures will happen.
no domainsponsor? that’s a pretty big hole in your table…

Thank you for the heads up. I didn’t think of DS this morning. I have added them now but my list wasn’t really to show who had the highest and in what order, it was just showing some “bigger” domain parking companies and the amount of DN’s each had.
