I must say that Domaining.com did help DotWeekly.com rise in the ranks of domain blogs with it’s service and I thank them for that! The win/win situation that Domaining.com (which I am going to call D from now on) was just that. It was a win for D because it grabbed my content that I work hard at to write daily, so it had new news from me and among others. In return, the traffic that D got/get’s resulted in traffic for the blog providers that click and read the stories posted.
I have stated in the past that D’s traffic that comes to DotWeekly is under 10% and that could clearly be seen when I posted my end of the year stats. Now nobody wants to lose 5-8% of it’s traffic either and it upsets me that the people that only read D will not see my blog.
I do not charge a penny and give information from my heart about my beloved Domain Industry!
It also makes me sad that "The Reason" why DotWeekly was removed from D.
I placed a domain name news story widget for AllTop.com and it’s "domain section" in the blue middle sidebar area to the right here on DotWeekly. Not on top next to the D logo. Not second spot down on my site, Not 3rd spot down, Not 5th, 6th or even 7th spot down but 8th! The Very Last thing that is even in the blue middle side bar!
Did D ask me to remove the widget? Nope!
Did I think it was wrong to have the very small widget on my site providing relevant content that has to do with the domain name industry? Hell No!
I’m not sure if Domaining.com is simply afraid of a little competition and didn’t want anybody from D to see that D is not the only feed provider of domain news?
I’m not sure if D is feeling the hurt from this subscription Fee to it’s readers to read Free news and is a little on edge?
I’m not sure if D has something against DotWeekly because I have posted several stories about the Fee Based site D has gone to?
I asked D directly if my feed was removed since I was never contacted and the reply back was:
Your feed has been removed. You succeed to get what you was looking for.
Since the removal of DotWeekly’s feed to D came shortly after I put up the AllTop.com domain name news widget and my direct question after the reply above went unanswered, I have to say that is the reason.
Amazing, a domain news site can’t have other domain news on it’s site and provide news to another domain name news site.
You can always read DotWeekly.com for free right at www.DotWeekly.com . I will not "edit" any posts so you can not see certain things. I will not make you sign in to read anything. I will not charge you one day and not charge others at all the next.
I will always be as clear as I can! If a change comes, I will let you know.
I do wish Domaining.com the best and it’s the owners right to allow what feeds it wants! I understand this.
I can also suggest you check out NameBee.com and AllTop.com which offer news feeds from domain blogs as well that DotWeekly.com is included in. Both are Free. NameBee.com offers a Unique option I think you will love. You can read more about that here. AllTop.com is created by Guy Kawasaki. If you are not aware who he is, you can checkout his blog here. You can also check out his Book Reality Check.

Francois is mad because he is FAILING. His arrogance and ignorance has cost him. ALLTOP produced by Guy Kawasaki, a reputable source, and followed by Venture companies WITH money versus broke domainers, rules! My experience is pout your names for sale in headlines with a blog post on each and ALLTOP will bring you what D couldn’t- bring you BOTH traffic and SALES.

I was a bit upset about the removal at first, but this has made me think OUTSIDE the domain industry a lot more. Learning things and posting on Facebook, Twitter and offering my feed to other popular services. My goal is now to Triple my traffic!!! Thanks D!
