I had questioned how many domain names were really available over at Sedo.com but that are listed for sale in this article that got A LOT of attention.
These kinds of list can be much more valuable than your everyday "available" domain name lists and DomainWhiz.net has put together a special location for you to find these kinds of domain names! The list is already generated and the domains are waiting for you!

I find it pretty interesting that a little, mainly unknown website like DomainWhiz.net can find these domain names and create a list of them, yet the huge service that was just so happy to announce the millions of dollars of domain sales they have done… can not keep their inventory up to date!
Do DomainWhiz.net a favor and use their affiliate links when or if you purchase one of the domains! I’m pretty sick of seeing great FREE services like these go away, because people are too damn cheap to use the affiliate links! I know it’s easy to copy a domain and head directly over the a registrar, but you wouldn’t be getting these lists if it wasn’t for free sites like DomainWhiz.net. The site stays alive IF you use it and they (the site) can make a little money as well!
Domainers are cheap and for some reason they treat "links" as if they are going to blow up your computer if clicked! Come on now, treat your domain brother’s and sister’s with some love. These registrars make a ton of money and there is NO REASON for you not to share the love with the services you use daily for free! It doesn’t cost you a penny to use affiliate links, but it can be extremely costly and useless time for the site owner if nobody clicks the links!
Example: Remember when Freshdrop.net use to provide the GoDaddy auction domains for free with all those great metrics? They did but people were not clicking the affiliate "buy" links when using the service and now it’s part of the pay service!

Regarding the low CTR of affiliate links and a thought to ponder… if ~90% of search traffic goes to sites on page one and perhaps 98% or more to sites on pages one or two, what incentive is there for someone to contribute their experience and passion about a topic which is competitive to rank for? A site could rank in the top 1% of search results for a category but the publisher’s earnings would be miniscule. Long-term the publisher might discontinue providing their insight on the topic because well time is limited and how many people like working for free.

I like domainwhiz’ search result. The new list is also great.
But I wonder if a company can survive solely on affiliate programs, in light of your another blog on earnings from sedo, GoDaddy etc:

@Jerry,
Not in the domain industry but many sites run well on just affiliate programs. DotWeekly is mainly w/ affiliate programs and it’s a sinking ship!
Favorite Domains
Nice one. But only one page? Not many domains. Only certain keywords?
Adam
pretty sad/funny to see the prices that people put on these pipe dream domains
pie in face to sedo’s tech department who can’t seem to take the responsibility to keep the listings clean and accurate.
