I read your posts more than any others through domaining.com. I find your blogs straight to the point with no beating around the bush and I like it like that.

If you sold it to someone else I probably wouldnt pay too much attention since you are the man. You cant buy that in a domain name.

Design wise its fine. K.I.S.S. principle.

Understanding the importance of a domain name was one of your best.

Keep up the good work

Mick

Only interested in domain related articles, particularly geo-domains, but thats just my thing.

In summary, change little and speak your mind. Content is King

Thank you for the input Mick! I will do my very best to keep things the way they are and improve on things as well.

The design is fine. The more you change it, the more I will get lost.
It is the valuable content you are providing that the reason why I am coming back and you give good ideas too.

Thanks

Hi Jamie
I agree with Ataol, please do not make too many changes! :) YOU are probably the reason why people keep coming back so my answer to question 8 would be "no". I really like the design of dotweekly, very clean and nice to look at, in fact I used it as an inspiration when creating my own blog. I am not sure if a newsletter would do any good, the people interested in your blog probably already subscribe to the feeds. I think video posts would have a positive effect though. When I started domaining I followed Brian Johnson from domainparkingmoney(dot)net, he always uses videos and because of that I never forget about him and his site.

1-I like the design, making my eyes focused on the post, clear, not over designed by the ads
2-I reached snapnames couple of times from here, but mostly I reach buyexpiringdomains.com from the links section.
3-yes, i would sign up, like reading newsletters.
4-i would offer some free services probably
5-no, i don't like video posts
6-i would rather you keep doing what you are doing. that's why i keep coming back to your blog, Jamie. I can read the news anywhere else. I like your insights and way of doing business. Even though I do not know you you give personality to the posts.
7-yes i would. i think this blog is important for the industry
8-depends on the person. it is the style that makes me read the posts.
9-i would not mind if you keep the style as is. so more insights, thoughts, tricks, tips instead of news.
I hope my comments help,
Regards,
Ataol

Thank you Ataol for your thoughts and the time you took to provide your input. All very helpful information for me and it means a lot. :)

Useful tips and information on the domain industry are what keep me reading. Design is not a priority. I did purchase XSite Pro after your mention and some additional research. If you hired a competent writer to post similar commentary I would probably still visit as long as the content were relevant. But I look at your blog for content related to domaining. If I want to read about the stock market or college basketball, I know where to find that information. Thanks for your insight.

-just a few ideas

Thank you for the XSite purchase Lenard! You too Tony (when you read this). Thank you also for the input, it helps me a lot. ;)
