Here is another round in the DotWeekly Discoveries that includes newly registered or newly acquired domain names for some of the largest companies in the world. As usual, many more "hand registrations" than aftermarket acquiring of domain names

Hand registered the domain names AflacDuckMail.com/.net/.org

Amazon

Hand registered the domain name Amazon-Jobs.com

T-Mobile

Hand registered several "Snap Pad" domain names that include SnapPad.biz, T-MobileSnapPad.com/.net/.org/.info/.biz. They also registered the same keyword without the hyphen TMobileSnapPad.com and other TLD’s Dynamite Inc appears to own SnapPad.com, which was registered in 2007 and would likely be a domain T-Mobile may try to purchase. TableTop Media owns SnapPad.net, which was registered in 2008.

Under Armour Inc

Hand registered the domain name UABlack.com

Corby Distilleries Limited

Hand registered the domain names CanadasVodka.com and Canadas-Vodka.com

Unknown

OneRed.com was likely purchased. The domain had privacy and was registered with Fabulous.com but was using HitFarm.com DNS and is now with the registrar Coperate Domains.

H.J. Heinz Company

Hand registered the domain name HeinzCares.com

Procter & Gamble Co.

Hand registered several domain names and those include CienciaeinnovacionPG.com, PGCienciaeinnovacion.com, PGBestOfBeauty.com, VeranoPantene.com and VeranopeloPantene.com

Google

Hand registered several "trusted" domain names that include GoogleTrusted.com/.net and GoogleTrustedStore.com/.net . CloudRobotics.com appears to have been acquired by Goolge between March 16, 2011 and April 10, 2011 when the domain went to privacy protection and was transfered to an new domain registrar. CloudRobtics.com now forwards to http://code.google.com/p/rosjava/ and displays Google’s information in whois. "rosjava implementation of ROS in pure Java with Android support" is stated on the page of the forward.

Hand registered the domain name PrestigePassages.com

Hand registered the domain names WeLoveOurFood.com/.net

I am always open to suggestions of "more" large companies to track, so if you would like me try and track a specific one, please contact me and provide me with at least some information on the company (the name of it, domain name(s) they currently use, email address, DNS they currently use etc). I try to have a mix of different companies in my lists so I do not get the "same old, same old".

As always, I run into A LOT of domain names that were likely purchased by a large company but due to generic use of whois info, currently I am not able to figure out who purchase or registered the domain. I do not share these very often but OneRed.com above is an example. Some are not as "clear" as that one, so that is mainly the reason I do not post them. Some companies register domain names with generic info (aka Fake) and then later switch whois. That may appear to be a domain that was "purchased" but not always was. So you can see why it gets hard for me to post those type of domains.
