Im interested to know with that traffic volume, what kind of revenue are your deriving from your affiliate banners?

**Jamie Says**
Going with the fact that domainers are Cheap, revenue is and was very low. I do not have an exact number but I would say it is under $500 for the year. A couple sign ups from XSite Pro, 2 sign ups via HostGator, couple clicks to Godaddy etc. For some reason Domainers think clicking on ads is like they are cancer.

Jamie, thanks for your DotWeekly. I learn from it.
It's easiest for me to go thru Domaining, but I read your site quite regularly.

tell you wife thanks for sharing you with all of us.

(Oh, and thanks for handing the Lions their 16th loss in the culmination of a PERFECT football season.) Enjoy New Years Day.

**Jamie Says**
Thank you Ed! My wife says she is happy to allow me do something I love. ;) (as long as she can go shopping when she wants. lol) I was also happy to see the Packers break their own 5 game losing streak and helping the Lions on their record breaking year.

Wow,

Domaining.com accounts for a high % of your traffic,

Glad it's still free now then :)

Happy new year.
Stevie.

**Jamie Says**
Maybe you misread the stats Stevie? Over 76% of my traffic comes from Direct Navigation. ie: typing www.DotWeekly.com or visiting from a Bookmark. Since my stories are posted on Domaining.com as LINKS, the traffic coming from Domaining.com would be in the 11.3 % section/range. Since Domaining.com is not the Only links from an external site to my site, I would say about 8% of my traffic comes from Domaining.com . The 2293 you see are links Back to DotWeekly.com From Domaining (basically stories I wrote).

I find your blog very helpful and best of all, it comes straight from what you want to say-and that the best part.
If you get a journalist to write, they tend to sway the facts and they know how to manipulate words.
Like us, we just shoot them straight!!

Keep it up.

Hi Jamie,

I always found useful information in your blog, a million thanks for generously sharing domain news and ideas with us. Please don't drop your blog - if you do, all your readers will be very disappointed. Happy new year to you, we all hope for a better 2009!

**Jamie Says**
Thank you IT! I was thinking of charging my readers $35 a year but... JK
