I had started DotWeekly.com only about 4 months ago with the intentions to Help Others in the domain world. As with any site, you never know what will happen. I could write and maybe nobody would read? That was one thought, but the way I looked at it was, it didn’t matter. If even one person would come across DotWeekly.com once and learn something, I would be happy!
Now did I ever think I would be getting phone calls from some of the largest registrars? Nope! Did I think that some of the big players in the industry would even read my blog? Nope! Did I think people would send me an email, just to say Thank You? Nope?
Did I know that I could help people? I sure did and I am happy to help. Everything on DotWeekly is here to help. The advertisers that I put on this blog are here for a reason. They are not only there to help fill up my penny jar (which they do not), they are products and services that I use and think they will help you. I list links of registrars that I use and like! Again, they are to provide you a source of what I use. I link to forums that I use and I also offer tools that I use and have built that are helpful in many ways and hope all enjoy them.
Soon I will be making DotWeekly even Better with video screen capture sessions and showing you exactly how I do things. From time to time I will ask you the readers if there is a subject you would like me to cover, so watch for those.
I also wanted to fill you in with some stats of DotWeekly’s growth in the short 4 months of it’s life so far. I started with a domain name that had 0 traffic, 0 links etc and I did this to watch and see how it did. So here are the stats for DotWeekly.com as of today.
Alexa Rank: 249,404 and now in the top 100,000 sites!
Nearly 6,000 unique visitors per month and growing fast!
446 Google indexed pages
195 Yahoo indexed pages
149 MSN indexed pages
1009 baclinks on 38 domains according to Domain-Pop.com
I personally want to thank all 6,000 + of you that visit each month. I hope to continue to provide you with useful information and help us all to continue to learn more about the domain industry, services, tools and so much more! Again, soon I will be providing video’s, which will be exciting and will create a bit more work for me but I think it is worth it!
Best Wishes,
Jamie Zoch www.DotWeekly.com

Those are some amazing stats! I found you on domaining.com and have had you bookmarked since. I like your “about me” page because it is really nice to feel like you know a little something about the authors of the blogs you are following.
I was curious if you have attended any of the big domaining events in the three years that you have been in the biz and if you have what would be the one you would head to in the next 12 months if you only had the time to go to one?

Hi Kelly and thank you for being a reader! I have not attended any of the domaining events, but plan to in the future. If I go to any, it would be TRAFFIC. It seems to be the biggest and the best!
