Here are some new eTrade Baby Commercials. A couple of these ran during the 2010 Super Bowl Commercials and some of them did not. I like most of the 2009 ads better than the 2010 ads myself, but these are pretty funny as well.
You will find a large mix of 2010 ads at the top, followed by 2009 ads below those. Enjoy!
These are some really funny commercials eTrade does. I just wonder how they do it!

***ONE QUESTION***
In his only line in the commercial, what does the old guy golfer call the baby….right before he says “…you moved your ball.”??
Big Sir
The commercial might be funny if it weren’t
completely incoherent: how is the baby “subsidizing Frank’s lack of golfing skills”
if Frank is the one who lost the bet? And how
does Frank’s 401k tanking play into any of it?
If you actually listen to the witless writing
you might see the spot for the crap it really it is, talking baby in a gold visor or not. You’re not Obama voters by any chance?
hedgemeister
I think the old guy says “But on the ninth hole, you moved your ball.”
sunjunkie
hedgemeister, you are absolutely right! so many of us thought it was nigel…thanks for clearing that up
Big Sir…put your anger aside for a moment and watch the commercial again. frank is trying to get out of paying the bet BECAUSE his 401k tanked (hence, he has no money to pay the bet because he’ll have to save it for retirement). the baby would be subsidizing his lack of golfing skills by letting him off the hook for the bet. see? no political angle…just clever copywriting…and no, i didn’t vote for obama…
CADman
Have they changed the opening of the golf baby, I thought it use to say “Frank trying to stiff me”
bruce
big sir, I think you’re the one who’s incoherent, and by the way why bring your just say no republican views into this! must be getting a little feightened of that health care reform .
Tony
Frank does not call the baby Nigel. He said “on the ninth hole you moved your ball”.
