An Associated Press report published on Yahoo! news displayed what appears to be not just a domain typo but also the link to be a typo!

It is pretty common for people (including myself) to make a simple typo or TLD typo. Like when you are writing about a .org domain name but write it with the more common .com TLD. It is also common for people to simply make a typo when writing about a specific domain name like this:

Bidz.com AP Typo Article

You will notice the article is talking about the website Bidz.com but then calls the site Bizd.com . It is not all that common to make a typo of a 4 letter domain name but is also not all that common to make a typo and link to the typo!

Bidz.com Link Typo for Bidz.com

The Bizd.com site is likely seeing a nice spike in traffic and wondering where it is coming from… if they read this, now they know!

I did check to see if they were really talking about Bizd.com, but the domain name is simply parked and I wouldn’t think they would link to a parked domain. Bizd.com has been parked with HitFarm.com for as long as I could see. The first linked Bidz.com does hold the proper link location.

Your headline has a typo. It should read “Typos”, not “Typo’s” The former is the plural of typo and the latter shows possession.
But, you were just testing us, right?
