Freshdrop.net is a great Free and Paid service provided by a domainer (Gorilla_Bob) and today when I went to the site, it has a new look.
They are clearly still in the works of getting the new look fully in place, as the page is very wide, buttons are hide under things etc, but these are all little bugs that will get worked out.
I also noticed "the filtering" tool (that allows you to only see .com or domains with or without numbers etc) is missing and hope that comes back. Anothing thing you will no longer be able to do is "copy" (highlight domain, right click, copy and paste into godaddy) a domain and add it to Godaddy to watch/bid. This was a smart move by Bob, to get people to actually click on the domain so he get’s credit for you using the service. Keep in mind, that just because you "click" a domain on Freshdrop.net doesn’t mean you will pay any more for it at auction. This simply allows Bob to get affiliate credit and keeps the site up and running.
Programming, hosting and design are not Free, so be sure if you use the service, use the tools provided so the site can stay up. Use the Buy button so you can watch or bid on the domain via Godaddy.
Freshdrop.net has went from a little tool with a "Lemon Design", into a Great tool used by most domainers and I hope to use it for many years to come!
