I’m sure domain name owners all have some funny ass stories about offers they receive on our domain names and the comments that come with them on why they may need the domain name or you are crazy for a specific offering price etc.
I always get a kick out of the ones that state: "Nobody is going to want the domain" My Reply, and you are contacting me because?
"It only cost $10 to register a domain name"
"I’m setting up a website for one of my kids, so the budget is low"
and many many more lines are used.. kind of like this little bit odd one today:

I guess they were laying all the cards on the table in the first email contact.
$50
but…..
"$100 is the most im willing to pay."
Funny stuff!

I once received an offer from someone in an email and they mistyped 50000. I of course countered with much more, say $70000 (as it was their first offer). They replied with a very nasty email back to me . . . I couldn’t figure it out why they got so mad at my counter and then realized, they had forgot to put the decimal point in . . . it was supposed to be 500.00

Interesting post – many people do not know the TRUE value of a domain name or they maybe do but the want the domain name for next to nothing.
I get this kind of I call it crap offers all the time – I call them time wasters

I love and hate getting these kind of offers. Its nice to see that an offer is on the table, because it represents potential business. Its also amusing to see some of their comments, like yours. But then its disappointing to see its some idiot who seems to think they are entitled to a domain name.

That is pretty funny, some people don’t know when to stop talking (or typing).
