Back in June I wrote about HostGator.com jumping into NASCAR and sponsoring the #87 of "Front Row Joe" Joe Nemechek in 1 Sprint Cup race and 4 Nationwide series races. Those deals were for the month of July 2010 but HostGator enjoyed the partnership and has continued sponsoring the NEMCO team that Joe owns and will do so for the remaining of the 2010 NASCAR season according to a statement on NemcoRacing.com.
An August 29, 2010 NASCAR Nationwide race in Montreal Canada brought out the blue and yellow colors of HostGator again with NEMCO but this time the paint scheme featured Gator.com on the side panels of the car instead of the popular HostGator moniker.

As you can tell in the above picture, Joe is facing the wrong direction and was involved in a crash in the early stages of the race. He was turned by the orange car and was not Joe’s fault. Joe ended up with a 28th place finish from his 27th starting spot.
Earlier races when HostGator was on a NEMCO race car featured this paint scheme:

HostGator purchased the domain name Gator.com sometime around April 22, 2008 according to whois history records when it changed ownership from The Gator Corporation to Brent Oxley of HostGator.com. Gator.com was first registered in March of 1997 and currently does a redirect to HostGator.com .
While doing some research for this story.. I found an interesting "poke" at GoDaddy.com in the meta description from an article on NemcoRacing:

"So why go with a daddy if you can Host with a Gator!"
GoDaddy.com also sponsors some race cars in the Nationwide and Sprint Cup series. Most notably, Danica Patrick and Mark Martin. GoDaddy happens to be the largest domain name registrar and also a popular place for people to purchase website hosting, what HostGator offers.

This is great sponsorship for Joe and NEMCO Motorsports! I apprecitate this article, and everyone involved with the sponsorship to Joe Nemechek, and team. Joe has shown that he is a bunch more competitive, and could have gotten top 15′s in every single start with HostGator, but circumstances have taken him out of contention for a top 15. Joe still has it, and he just needs a bit of luck! GO JOE! GO NEMCO! THANK YOU HOSTGATOR!

I would like to know why Joe has either dropped out early or usually does not finish in very many of his races??
