Yes, EPC means Earnings Per Click. This is when a visitor clicks on a banner or link ad. Not all programs have EPC. GAN is mainly, if not only a EPA (earnings per action) or purchase. Google Adsense is an EPC program.

@Jamie - Thanks for reminding me about this. I signed up about 2 months ago, then did nothing with it. I will look again tomorrow (obviously Saturday is a work day :-))

I'm using both Links and Banners and both are getting clicks although I would say Banners are going to do better just because there more visable. To early to get a good overeall picture, will have some solid stats in a few weeks although first impressions look very promising, better than i've seen with other services out there.

Thanks for your insight Chris. Have you found some advertisers doing better than others? Links over banners etc?

@Leonard,
Maybe in your "Settings" tab (upper right), then "Account" tab (upper left), adjust your description you have in to let advertisers know that you own more than one site and what you may offer.

I made the swap myself only last week, i've been trying out lots of different affiliate providers over the years and most of them are just a waste of time,don't fully trust them to be honest. Google affiliate Network looks promissing and seems to be tracking a lot of clicks unlike others i've tried, give it a go if affiliate sales is your thing.

The challenge I have found with my Google affiliate program (there is likely a solution) is that you sign up with one account related to a particular website. Affiliates related to that theme will approve your site but if you try to get companies related to other sites you will often get rejected. So it would seem you just need to open another account. But every time I try it defaults me back to my existing account so I'm stuck with affiliates for just one pet-related site.
