Google Inc. has obtained the generic domain name Prizes.org
It appears Google purchased the company Slide Inc. (Slide.com) in or around August 2010 according to TechCrunch.com and whois updated to Google Inc. as of 04/01/2011 for Prizes.org as shown by the screen shot below. Prizes.org does a redirect to Slide.com . (see update below)
Update: Google has now launched a site on Prizes.org . The site is currently in beta and is a contest creation style site, similar to Fiverr.
