The Grammy’s have rolled out a new campaign using the call to action domain name WereAllFans.com helping to promote the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards coming up on CBS on January 31st.

The site WereAllFans.com is loaded up with a bunch of YouTube videos, flickr images of singers and tweets presented in a unique format. Interestingly enough, Wendy’s had rolled out a very similar style site not that long ago with WendysRealTime.com that I wrote about back in early November.

On the left of the WereAllFans.com site, you are able to select an artist like Carrie Underwood, LL Cool J, Pink or Dave Matthews and the screen will fill up with that specific artist in little boxes that include the tweets, YouTube vids and more. The site currently has just 5 artists listed but more are coming.

Pretty cool site and I’m glad to see the Grammy’s using "other" domain names then there flagship site Grammy.com . They also happen to own the domain name Grammys.com which forwards to there main site, Grammy.com for those who think there site would be plural.

One thing I wasn’t a fan of was the way the domain name was displayed during the commercial that I saw it in. The domain was displayed in all lower case, which made the domain name very hard to read and I had to back up with my DVR to be able to pick out the wording. wereallfans.com was the way it was displayed and clearly, capitalizing keywords makes any domain name much easier to read… WereAllFans.com .
