It allows you to track all the traffic you got and its sources before sending to a third party. For example, if you had this on your server before clicking through to Fabulous you'd have some transparency as to the real traffic numbers and could send traffic from multiple domains to one. btw, You are really doing a GREAT job with this blog lately.
