Sorry to hear about your dog Jamie. We’ve spent a lot of time/money lately trying to help our dog (guessing game too) with his eyes and sores that keep appearing. He’s pretty miserable licking ALL the time. Very frustrating.

Having done a couple of puppy minisites I recall that Daschunds commonly have back trouble because of their long body. Supposedly they shouldn’t be allowed to jump off couches and recliners for example as this can aggravate their inclination toward knee and back problems. Hope everything works out -cute pup!

Cute as a button. I feel so sad for him because he can’t tell the vet where it hurts like we can. So it becomes an expensive guessing game. Wish you the best with him for a complete recovery.
