That is correct. You would only know after they sent payment if it was or was not a Masspay. If you requested a Masspay and fee's were taken out via Paypal, you can reject the payment and again request a Masspay from the buyer.

@Logan,
When you receive a Masspay, No Fees are subtracted from the payment. So if fees are subtracted, then the payment was not a Masspay.

Hello,

I just found your website through another website link. This is written from the perspective of you wanting to buy the domain, but what about the perspective of wanting to sell the domain to someone with Paypal. How do you know that they are using masspay instead of money from a credit/debit card?
Thanks!

An excellent article. A lot of people have been concerned with the recent fraud that involved Paypal chargebacks... I am sure people will start using masspay a lot more in the future.

What can be the maximum amount that can be sent with Mass Pay safely?

Thanks for the tip! That alleviated a big concern for me :)

**Jamie Says**
I have sent payment in the $xx,xxx range and I was not worried. Now if this was the first time you have worked with this person/entity, I would use Escrow from $1,000 or greater. I would use Mass Pay for just about any sized transaction from $10-$1,000 and feel the safest if this was the first time I have delt with them.
