Here is some further proof that it is important to own Your Name as a domain name! Why? Because it is YOU!
People become famous overnight for many reasons and Your Name becomes vital keywords.
Using Your Name as a domain name is often make sense branding.
Owning Your Name as a domain name allows you to control what happens with the domain name.
Well, Keith Olbermann doesn’t own "his" name as a domain name but the website DailyCaller.com just purchased it and let Keith know it!

We Own You
The Keith Olbermann pictured above has worked in TV for some time now but he clears didn’t feel the need to own his name as a domain name. This is a big mistake IMO. In fact, KeithOlbermann.com was listed on Sedo.com as of recently and likely was the place DailyCaller.com purchased it.
According to DailyCaller.com, now Keith has threatened legal action because of the purchase. (again, something that could have been avoided if he would have purchased it some time ago)
KeithOlbermann.com simply does a redirect to DailyCaller.com and "Masking" is applied to the forward.
KeithOlbermann.com was first registered as early as 2000 according to whois records but was dropped from the registry in 2004 and has been registered ever since. It appears to have changed ownership to The Daily Caller on or about 7/12/2010.

Hi Jamie,
I agree completely with you because you can really brand yourself using your own name with dot com. It is exactly that what I am trying here
