Stitches were taken out of my hand yesterday, so I’m getting closer and closer to full strength again for my typing power! Yahoooooo, now if it would just stop bleeding, my keyboard wouldn’t be so slippery
It’s Micro Post time, so here we go…
~ How do you know if you have a good domain name? Think of it this way… Your a beautiful woman and your name is Meagan Fox! How fitting. Your a weather man and your name is Tom Storm! Your a race car driver and your name is Scott Speed! It’s almost like the name is "fake" because it’s so fitting to what they do or who they are!
~ I am a pretty darn nice guy and very easy to get along with… I would go the extra mile to help out just about anybody…. but somebody in the domain industry just sky rocketed to the very top of my Shit List! To say I am pissed is a clear understatement!
~ A 10 year old girl has breast cancer and the family has set up a website to tell the story.. and they picked a pretty darn good domain name to tell it on. OurLittleSweetPea.com . (the site is currently down due to traffic overload) The domain name was only registered 3 days ago and compete already shows a good deal of traffic.
It just amazes me how Fast a site can be built and Known by so many people world wide. You gotta love the internet. I wish the little girl the best and hope she has a full recovery.
~ I have used Sedo.com to close a couple domain transactions lately and have been very impressed with the new "all online" Transfer Center. It works great and really speeds up the transaction process. After using Sedo the past couple domain sales, I’m not so sure that I will be using Afternic to close any more deals. Sedo is really smooth with this process from a sellers standpoint and I really like the fact the sold domain get’s pushed into a Sedo Escrow account. This does not happen via Afternic, which put’s a lot of extra work on seller to get the domain to the buyer! As many domain sellers know, the buyer normally has no clue about a "push" or how a transfer works.
If Afternic sells one of my domains… great.. but I will not be sending interested parties that way anymore.
