Sedo.com has sold the domain name Jets.com . This is a GREAT generic domain name and I personally think it sold for a very fair price (good deal for buyer).
The domain name is still in the transfer process at the Sedo.com domain name marketplace, so it will be interesting to see who the buyer is.
Around Aug 1, 2009 Sedo was hired by the seller of the Jets.com domain name to offer it for sale. A month and a half later and the seller must of been happy with the offer of $375,000 and accepted.
It could be the NFL team (if they were smart), a jet maker or simply an investor that has an idea for the domain name.
PinkDiamond.com is a nice domain sale in that group as well for $7,999.
Congrats to the seller and new buyer of the Jets.com domain name!

I agree David. Jets.com is a 7 figure domain IMO…. That is what jets cost, Millions each! or as the Cowboys think… it’s worth “5″, but “5″ can mean 500, 5,000, 500,000 or 5 Million which they clearly didn’t understand. LOL
