If your budget doesn't fit for the .com, .net and other TLD's are an option but keep in mind if the .com is developed, you will likely get beat out now or later. I've built my business with keyword-rich domains as the centerpiece. There are a lot of opportunities in the .net, .org, and .us TLD's that can easily rank on the first page of Google/Yahoo and bring strong traffic and revenue for a VERY small investment!
