Latonas.com has kicked off a 1 day, $1 No Reserve domain name auction featuring 117 domain names. Not just any 117 domain names, many are GREAT domain names!

ePayments.com is a great domain name!

BajaCalifornia.net is a great domain name!

Nebraska.net is a great domain name!

NorthDakota.net is a great domain name!

Tons of iKeyword domain names and many more, all starting at $1 with no reserve!

Yes, many of the great domains mentioned above already have bids but many domains still hold no bids! Many of the great domains still have lower bid prices and this is only a 1 day auction, so not everybody is going to see it or will be able to bid. Heck, why not just bid $1 on some and see what happens. That is what I did but I left plenty that you can still bid $1 on. (early bird gets the worm)

Make sure you understand the bidding process before you place your bid. You have two bidding options.

~ Proxy Bid: (minimum bid of $301) on $1 domains. Minimum proxy bid increases as the bid price increases. You can use proxy bid if you wish but understand how it works before doing so. Personally, I think doing the minimum may actually may hurt the results a bit because of the $300 minimum.

~ Fixed Bid: I screwed up when placing a fixed bid because I didn’t understand the process ahead of time… so…. The price you put in, becomes the high bid, so understand that ahead of time as a fixed bid is not a proxy bid!

Even if the auction starts at $1 with no current bids and you put in a $50 bid for a fixed bid.. the price instantly goes to the $50 bid without anybody else having to bid against you to raise the price. Just an FYI as it pays to understand the bidding process as it can be a little tricky the first time using it. Even though the fixed bid drives up the price without anybody bidding against you, you can still use the price to keep other bidders away while keeping the "minimum bid increase" in mind! It all depends on how you look at it.

It appears the minimum bid jumps to $101 if a $1 bid is placed, so if you are the first $1 bid.. you could really win it for $1 if people do not wish to reach the minimum of the $101 fixed bid price or the $301 minimum proxy bid price! Personally, again I think having a minimum $100 fixed price jump may hurt the results a little bit on some domains. I can understand a bidding increase but the minimum shouldn’t be $100 jump under $1,000! $5-$20 is fair IMO.
