Hi Jamie,
We missed you at the "Viking Feast Inadmissable Evidence Party" at Domainfest last week. Rumor was that you were "dizzy" after the Universal Tour ride "Mummy's Revenge"... ;-)

Regarding the pending review for Snap submissions, the delay is caused by checking for TM's and as stated, ridiculous prices. Also, they review your domains for possible featuring on their homepage specials. Give Snapnames a few months to iron out the bugs in the system. They always come through nicely for me, and I sell several thousand dollars in domains every month. My favorite domain-selling platform. Kudos to JS, MVT and the whole gang at Snapnames/Moniker for putting this system into place. By Summer 09, I predict most domainers will have a decent amount of domains for sale on Snap.

peace

I am surprised that you just notice this with Snapnames. They have good platform but their "pending review" is a rampant problem regardless of the names or prices. I had same problem last year with listed name "pending review" for months. I also had couple of friends with great names having the same problem. And it even worst when your account manager is helpless about it. That made me conclude it is not really a human delay; it must be bugs in their system...I wonder why it is taking forever to rectify. I hope you don't wait for too long

@ Tim
Besure to use the Advanced Search. You can select the "kind" of domain names you are looking for. If you are looking for Expiring Domains, you can always use BuyExpringDomains.com ;) but the tabs on Snap allow you to search Buy It Now, In Auction, Available Soon (expiring) etc.

@Josh
I do not think SnapNames has any say in the price you choose but they could filter out some that are really crazy. (Like many listed on eBay). I do agree about Trademarks, but Snap also dropcatches many TM's daily, so that is two sided... For the Ultra Naughty Language.. did you happen to see the last Adult Auction they held? I don't think they filter sassy words ;)

They might choose to reject the price you have chosen, and they might also be filtering for trademarks and ultra naughty language.
